In his grandparents' attic, Tibor discovers a forgotten box containing the false identity papers his grandmother, Odette, used during World War II. This find awakens her memories and traumas, and a multitude of questions for this ten-year-old boy. Through a narrative spanning three eras, the play explores the courageous resistance of women in the struggles for justice, the rise of fascism in the 1930s and today, and what it means to be the father of a daughter in our society. Blending puppetry, physical theatre, and music, Bus 47 weaves an intimate and political tapestry that invites dialogue between generations and examines collective memory from a child's perspective.
